“It was a good 15 years ago at least so I can't remember an enormous amount!  I went with a friend also interested in science. We were at school in Derbyshire so it was quite exciting to be going down to London and staying at the halls of residence at Imperial College.  If I remember right it was just two days and we had maybe two sessions each day looking at different aspects of science. 

The sessions were led by academics and other students, perhaps post-grads. Some were in lecture theatres and others in labs so it gave a taste of university life. There was also a bit of socialising time. I wrote a diary of my experience!”
