SET Fair Standard: further information
What are the outcomes?
Every organisation that takes part in the SET Fair Standard gets an objective and in-depth assessment and a confidential report that identifies excellence and areas of improvement. Organisations achieving the Standard can display the SET Fair Standard logo and we help you with publicity.
Three levels of award are made:
Committed –you have a robust foundation to support your gender equality improvements
Achieving –you have a well developed strategy and policies that are delivering significant improvements in gender equality
Outstanding –you are a recognised leader in sustainable gender equality practices
What does it measure?
The SET Fair Standard measures four key areas:
- leadership and management
- organisational and workplace culture
- participation and progress
- reputation and responsibility
What resources are needed?
The process takes around 12 weeks and you need a designated internal lead. Fees are at market rates and on a sliding scale depending on size and type of organisation.
